Stainless Steel Thermowells

We offer a range of stainless steel thermowells machined from solid bar for use with 6mm diameter temperature sensors. They are ideal for applications where the removal of the sensor could prove complicated such as on a vessel, pipe or tank. They are 12.7mm O.D. and are available with a 1/2 inch BSP taper process entry thread and 1/4 inch BSP parallel sensor entry thread. Use a 1/4 inch BSP stainless steel fitting to attach the sensor to the thermowell.
  • Male Thread: 1/2 inch BSPT
  • Female Thread: 1/4 inch BSPP
  • Sheath machined from solid 316L Stainless Steel
  • 1/2 inch BSP female welding bushes are available separately
  • Operating range: -75°C to 800°C
*930mm thermowell is a welded construction and not machined from solid.
