PVC Insulated Twisted Pair with Screen (105°C)
We supply 7/0.2mm and 13/0.2mm dia cable in 25, 50, 100 or 200 metre lengths in either thermocouple cable types KX, KCB, TX, JX, NX, NC or RCA/SCA. Each conductor is insulated in heat resistant PVC, the cores are then twisted, screened with aluminium Mylar tape and then overall sheathed in heat resistant PVC. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meets IEC 60584-1 Class 2 : 2013 up to 105°C. The insulation material is colour coded to ANSI MC96.1, as shown below.

Type KX: yellow outer sheath, yellow positive wire and red negative wire
Type KCB (supplied in IEC colours): green outer sheath, green positive core and white negative core
Type TX: blue outer sheath, blue positive wire and red negative wire
Type JX: black outer sheath, white positive wire and red negative wire
Type NX: orange outer sheath, orange positive wire and red negative wire
Type NC (supplied in IEC colours): pink outer sheath, pink positive wire and red negative wire
Type RX/SX: green outer sheath, black positive wire and red negative wire
